The Jersey Rockettes Cheerleading Squad was the first squad set up in Jersey and now we’re proud to have 4 squads within our academy! Our classes go up to the age of 18 and for the cheerleading stars, we have our Jersey Rockettes Advanced Squad. The Jersey Rockettes perform regularly at Jersey’s Battle of Flowers events and have been booked to perform at many of the islands’ charity events. We bolster a crowd, make noise and definitely entertain! The EJDA offers many performance opportunities for our cheerleaders as well as performances in our annual shows. As well as our incredible performance opportunities, EJDA brings top professionals to the island on occasion, to train with our squads. We also run ‘Cheer Camps’ during the summer holidays. *Inter & Advanced Squad members may have to audition / try out for their place in the top squad groups. There is no audition process for the Pee Wee or Pre-Intermediate Squad groups… although a dance or gymnastic background is beneficial. Emma Jane Griffiths now holds a Masters Qualification in Cheerleading.
