Jazz classes are open to children aged 10+. A popular, stylish and very creative form of dance, jazz is open to the discretion of our teachers, with ballet being a beneficial background in preparation.

Jazz Dance consists of a warm-up that includes stretches, isolations and basic footwork. Progression sees tutoring for exciting variations with turns, kicks and jumps. Jazz is a very energetic genre of dancing, that’s for sure. The dance choreography you will learn can be incorporated into all styles of Jazz Dance, lyrical jazz, musical theatre and more…   Each routine will vary between the blend of Jazz styles with varying accents and dynamics.

Due to popular demand we have added a ‘Junior Jazz’ class to our timetable  – limited spaces are available in this class.
